
About Dr.Thao Nguyen
After graduating from the University of Portland with a B.S. degree in Biology, Dr. Nguyen continued her education at Oregon Health and Sciences University Dental School, receiving her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1996. Dr. Nguyen graduated with Honors and was recognized with the William Howard Award.
Committed to continuing education, Dr. Nguyen was a faculty member at OHSU and participates in numerous hours of clinical training and classes in all aspects of dentistry. She maintains memberships in respected organizations in the dental community including: American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Society, OHSU Alumni Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Portland Dental Research Periodontal Study Club, and Jacobsen’s Restorative Study Club.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She had also donated time with Medical Team International in the local communities, Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy and provided dental education in local schools.
